Hi all,

Here's an example of how to make a non-linear or curved slider. This can be used for any of the slider types.

Image

1) Create an animation that you want to use for the display of your Slider. Obviously the more frames you use, the smoother the slider will look. (Check out the Example PSD below for an example). Give it the appropriate animtype. I.e. animtype(7) for a progress slider.

2) Create a layer underneath the animation layer set, and give it the relevant slider keyword. For example, progresslr. Make its opacity 0% so its completely Invisible but still reacts to input (It reacts to input because its visible, just transparent)

3) Done!

For a complete example download the example PSD from here -> http://xion.r2.com.au/reference/NonLinearSlider.psd

Enjoy!

Cliff :)
