Jikaru, seriously, one of the only places that wall of text applies to are forums. That's where the term comes from. Look at the quote from Urban Dictionary:
Urban Dictionary Wrote:A paragraph written, usually on an internet forum, that is usually very long, has little or no punctuation and is very stressful on the eyes.

Check out any other forum and if people post large text with no paragraphing people complain about it being a wall of text.

Essentially you're just saying you don't care that we can't read your text and you're not prepared to format it so we can. Which in response, I guess we'll just have to not care what you have to say.

You've made some other posts that have great formatting, I commend you on your efforts. They are much easier to read. All I'm saying is that if you continue to do the wall of text posts, you may find people ignoring you.

Cliff :)

I attempt to format my posts whenever necessary. If it is not formatted then I didn't care or I was in class. I just hate having random stupid-ass paragraph spiels in the middle of threads, just stick to the forum topic and it will sort itself out, the more you point it out the more I probably will post like that, so just leave it be and I'm sure you won't notice it.

BTW I mostly punctuate my posts properly. If it looks like a wall of text it's all more than likely on the same subject and split with commas. And if I was in class I might (MIGHT) edit it later.

lol surprised this is still going on about paragraphs, move on people and Jikaru make sure you do format properly as going forward in your life you will need to market yourself in order to move ahead in whichever area you choose to push yourself.

Formatting can also be somewhat of an art but the more you practice it early on, will guide you well throughout your career.

If people choose to show walls of text, people will not bother reading your shit, they will not take you seriously and you might as well not bother posting cos no one will be bothered to read it.

If your still at school/college/uni Jikaru then your english teachers should be giving you the kane until you sort your bloody walls of text out ;) You must be sitting at the back of the class, clowning around and not learning stuff.

I always sit at the back of the classroom...but that has nothing to do with my poor formatting in an environment where it is not necessary in most cases. I am well versed, per se, in formatting formally and I am extremely intelligent, so I find it highly unnecessary to continue this ludicrous engagement of paragraph speeches.

So lets just drop it, deal?

Nothing NEW about my formatting it has always been there...it's just like one or two posts in a monthly span pop up without all the bells and whistles and people get their panties all up in a bunch.

There was a fun surprise at work for me today. The house up the street from the one we were painting had a Nintendo Punch Out coin operated arcade machine outside. Well, I'd wanted one for the last two years or so for my MAME/Winmugen/ Emulators project.

The plywood is delaminated on the sides, but all the boards, controllers, coin boxes etc. were there.

Of course I will put Xion on the Arcade machine too. That is, if I'm alive after we drag it up the two flights of stairs here, it's still in my truck, hehe... :)

Edit:I'd never have gotten it in the house alone, It has two screens, and weighs a min. of 300+ lbs.I was happy to see all the troubleshooting info and dip switch documentation were inside the machine. 1983 Nintendo, hehe, this will be a fun project.

i guess I'm lucky to have a family like mine.I put it in the living room, and it is only like a foot from the ceiling, and nobody bitched. I forgot that the older machines were so damn big. :D
