Does Xion have the ability to play from a flash drive without having to load itself to a hard drive, next need adminstrator access for installation, and then use the player?

My company is anal about programs being installed without admin support.

Yes it does! While at a public computer at my college, I downloaded xion to a flash drive, and then installed it on the same flash drive and it runs normally. You don't need administrative rights if you do it that way. (at least in my case...)

if you have a home computer install xion there and copy the whole xion dir to your portable flash drive ... run xion from there ... it should work ... I think ...

Copying the install directory to a flash drive and running should work just fine :)

about the portable Suggestion... make it officially portable or just make this player to store its settings in an "INI" file and you'll get more glory and fame at TPFC The Portable Freeware Collection

hope to see you (Xion player) soon at TPFC!!! 8)

I'm also looking at supporting Xion in the new u3 portable platform (http://www.u3.com) :)
