Yup, that's correct.

I didn't put any information about it as it was supposed to be a surprise, but I guess it may be hard to figure out what it is. I've updated the information in the first post.

its the application scaling the skins not skin scale so will work on all skins, however it will make them more pixellated the larger they are scaled, but for higher resolution monitors it should look good

what I did not see in the screenshot is a negative scale amount for say monitors 1024*768 and lower, if skins are designed with 1280*1024 in mind then they will still be bigger on 1024, I would say that 1024 should be the lowest res to support tho given most people use 1024 and higher resolution monitors

Silly SLoB, negative scale amounts would produce imaginary skins... the slider shown in the preview appears to go all the way down to 10%; I would imagine this means 10% of the original size, not an enlargement by 10%.

Anyway... this is a great feature, and since my first two skins (not posted on this site) were huge, this might revive them for me. My prediction is that depending on how well this downscales skins, people might start making high-res skins to suit everyone... that way people can make them as large (or as small) as they want without pixellation. We're probably going to have larger file sizes...
