An idea for in-skin playlist that might work

My idea:
Have a skin with a hole in it.
Make a playlist that fits there.
Have a "lock playlist" button on the skin, which puts an invisible "moveable" layer over the moveable parts of the playlist.

Would it work?

Wait, no, it wouldn't because when you click the playlist it will rise above the main window and the "lock" layer will be below the playlist.

Has anyone tried anything like this yet? I think the ability to build playlists into the skin itself is a must.

It works in reverse ...Just build a skin "in" the playlist. :) Anchor it as you see fit, so that it doesn't move/expand the playlist, or your skin elements, or let it if you can incorporate that into a pull-out type shade.

The only known issue is that you will still get a "playlist" if the user right clicks their way to one...causing a doubling of the skin. :)

Cliff says he's going to fix a bug that currently makes it impossible to call the playlist through keywords.

One way would be to hide your skin except for a button, which when clicked, opens skin w playlist incorporated... :)In other words, opens skinned playlist.

Ah. So you can add volume slider, playback buttons and such to the playlist?
Sweet, thanks.
