Pause on Lock / Screensaver

Xion is getting to the point that I don't miss other players, just one or two features.

One I could really use from Foobar is Pause on Lock (extended) {foo_lock_ex}

This one pauses on lock, and plays on unlock, and, unlike a few others, doesn't play when the screensaver kicks in. It's great when I need to step away from my desk, and I forget to hit pause first...

Hi leadfoot!

Its great to hear that a lot more people are now moving from existing players to Xion! I did a check recently of existing players and found that almost all of them use 60mb of RAM these days :| Eeep.

I'll look at adding support for this. It could also be done as a plugin, but its probably nicer to just add support into the core.

Cliff :)

I was thinking plugin as well, but whatever works best. You can program. I can't. yet.

About the memory, when I modded a skin to add album art, the memory went from ~9M to ~13M. Still less than winamp classic at 20M + 8M for CD Art Display. Not too shabby! Keep up the good work!

Edit: Hmmm. I checked again. On startup, with album art, it's 5.5M. Open the playlist, and it goes to ~7.5M. Open the simple library, and then it goes up to 11-13M. Closing them doesn't release the memory. Still, 13M is TINY compared to most players...Don't even get me started about iTunes. (frickin' iPhone FW2.x....)
