i like xion very much its fast and skinable, but it only works on windows platforms,
many people would be very happy if there could be a version on linux,
many of us using two systems on one pc,why not use Xion on them (linux, windows)

Unfortunately, due to the use of the Visual C redistributable packages, getting a Linux friendly version would mean recoding the entire thing.
Your best hope is that Wine makes a development breakthrough. Last i heard, Xion worked, but there was no rendering, making it pretty much unusable, GUI wise. I shoot and ask questions later.
Take no offense of it.
yes there is problem with animations and with shadows linux shows main layer of skin with borders like it was in some window mode, also its hard to move xion on desktop,
maybe in the future developers will find some way to build linux version with the same skining posibility (wine-its not a good way)
