Xion Audio Player

Unicode support in playlist

Feature Requests and Ideas

Postby dayze-d » August 2nd, 2007, 9:49 am

As far as I can tell, the listbox in the playlist does not support Unicode, thus cannot show Chinese (or Japanese or Korean or...) and instead displays rubbish characters. I, for example, have full chinese support on my computer (can type, read, etc) in all programs, except Xion. Is there something I am not doing? Otherwise, adding support for this should not be too difficult with some API calls.

Thanks

Xion is currently compiled in Multi byte mode.

To convert to Unicode would require a lot of work, which I plan to do as soon as possible.
