[Need Info] Shoutcast stream buffers halt the music

Once Xion needs to fill the stream buffers, while listening to shoutcast radio streams, the player shows "Buffering" then a countdown to zero from 100 as the buffers fill up, then the music stops. That happens every time. It isnt my connection as I am getting a steady 30Mbps download on Cable Broadband using an ethernet cable from the computer to the router (not wifi). The router is a netgear GNR2000v2 Running DD-WRT and the ISP's modem is in modem only mode, not router mode. I think the buffers on Xion are set wrongly and there needs to be some way to adjust them. I have tried with other media players and they dont have the same problem If anybody wants to recreate the scenario. I am listening to http://stream.uzich.ch:9010, mainly but also streaming from various servers on the second life grid.

I hope this is fixable as my impression of xion is that it is by far the best looking audio player around and the imagination of the skinners and themers is absolutely awesome. This problem is really annoying me though

I can't seem to connect to that stream, are you sure that's the correct url?

Ok, I figured out that the stream you were referring to was http://stream.uzic.ch:9010/ (no h at the end of uzic)

I can't reproduce what you're seeing here though. If I double click the stream, I buffer then I play the stream and the Net buffer seems to be almost constant 100%, dipping to 98% and back up every 30 seconds or so depending on connection.

What happens when you play this stream? http://radio1.internode.on.net:8000/89

Cliff :)
