Hi Cliff, hi all
just one thing:
did anyone else has problems with *.MP3 files? I cant include them in Xion, not a thing, just change the ext to lowercase, but some users can get confused.

Offtopic: Cliff what about SUI and so? I cant wait to upload my skins :)

hmm it seems with every few releases of the beat (Well I had 108 before this) the drawing of the visualizer changes. Is there a way we can change this? (the visualizer within the skin, not the seperate one) I am using the YABX skin for a while now and this has been the case for a while now and I would really like to change this if possible.

Edit- Nevermind. I was unaware until now that the visualization plugin was actually embedded within the skin. Anyway, as for lance, I could try contacting him on the GUIS forums if you would like?

So you can't add files with an uppercase extension? Is that the problem?

You'll have to vote for it in the Feedback on the Left over there <-----

Sure, if you like. It might help motivate him to finish off the skin.

2 suggestion, i'm boring I know :)

First of all, the small icon is really ugly!!
Image
Take the same as the icon in the tray :)

And I don't like the effect when you click on the playlist the first time it appears in slow motion, do you understand what i mean?

Considering the small icon is a 16x16, that's the best you can get.

maybe if it had a black bg, like the taskbar, it would look better, but thats really being fussy...

Yeah, I've been thinking about removing the fade for a while now. Means it fixes some skin's startup animations so that you can see all the frames.

I'll remove the fade in from transparency for both the Main and Playlist windows.

Shoot, I'm a bit late to the party for this version. I just updated to Windows 7 today on my main machine after a clean install over my previous XP, and this is the fresh Xion build I installed.

I have to say I wish the scrolling Playlist box would have stayed in it's previous location, only just been made a bit wider. I feel like I have even LESS space on the playlist than I did previously, which was already bulky and cramped as several users pointed out, including myself (I think). I'm glad it's been reworked, but I don't think anyone will have a playlist that is going to be so many characters that it warrants its own line at the top of the play list. There is so much unused space to the right of the File, Edit, View, Add, REM and CTRL menu options. Can't it be integrated there, similar to where it was in previous builds but only widened to fit the gaps that were on either side of it. It did scroll just fine, too, so long playlist names would still be peachy.

My media keys all worked out of the box and everything works great so far.
