Ebonite 2.0 for Xion

I'm 95% done with it, but I'm running into some difficulties getting the custom playlist to act the way I want. Would anybody more knowledgeable than me be able to take a look at my PSD and see if they can tell me how to fix it, or fix it. Basically having problems with Borders, Edges, and having moveable areas....

atm the pl does not support multiple borders/edges if you wanted to put in rgb layers for example. That is on the feature request list though ;)

It looks awesome Winston, :)

Initially I got about 10 errors like this:

Image

I moved the edges out, cut the borders smaller, and that seemed to stop squeezing all the buttons.Search not working might be because of trying to use layer effects.

Alot of layer info got discarded on open 'tho, so hard to say what I'm not seeing... :)

Basically tho, seems all the buttons are like 1px from the edge that you grab, too close and getting squeezed...hope that helps, xonenine. :)

I know why you are getting those errors... those layers are Photoshop Smart Objects that I created within PS CS4.

So you're saying I should just enlarge the playlist window? Or just shrink the stuff inside so that it can be that small?

I may have just brainstormed a "hack around" kind of way to get it to behave the way I want. I did this "hack" type method on a different playlist I created, but figured I would be able to use it since the borders in Ebonite are semi transparent. I'll give it a go tomorrow.

OK, I got it all working... tweaked all the modes to pixel perfection. I think I've gotten all the bugs out, but I'd like you guys to test before a release.

Haha, I'm not showing off. I'm just porting the Winamp creation to Xion (minus RGB color sliders) :D
