still wip, of course the usual colour theme stuff going to go in, R,G,B layers going in for main body, lcds will have set amount of colours

Looks good! I like the pixely look to the screen. Are the dots along the sides Vu meters? If so, it would be cool of they glowed a bit. I like it so far!

i had the sides as prog & vol bars initially but that could change, hmm possibly might toggle those to behave as either vu meters with levels then glow and then also prog & vol sliders, if theyr all put into a layer set that should work a treat, tristate bars

i'm going for a slight perspective look in the lcd, the pixel look might change transparency once i start getting some content in ther but will still be very visible

VU animations AND progress bars would be sweet if you could get it all to look right! Did you use PS to make the background image?

yep all ps

colours are all in now - r, g, b for main body and lcd colours, working on multiple lcd glass set atm

atm the bars are sliders, will work in vus later today, have them toggle in a set

then onto the lcd section, hoping to get a small perspective look in ther, its gonna be tight

its lookin pretty sweet with the r,g,b layers

quick update
a few tweaks here and there
its still wip, altho r,g,b, lcd colour,glass layer sets now complete
toggle between vu and prog/vol sliders in next update

started a little on the lcd, will probably keep this layout, not quite how i envisaged it but once ya get on an idea ya gotta go with it, bottom info section will be redone to include all the applicable indis and file info
fonts will most likely change

That LCD is kicking ass. I love the horizon/perspective lines in it, gives it a weird draught look.

thnx skry, did some more work on it tonite, when ya got the urge ya gotta go with the flow

still not fnished with the lcd yet, its pretty much there in all the other stuff now, the side bars in the lcd also used for netbuffer

still need to work in min,close buttons, possible library and a logo somewhere, it also needs a name, thinking of "Loaded" atm

same update as from sc forum

quick update, not far to go now, lcd still wip, altho its looking okish
2nd pic has a small config panel, options are:-
- 5 Layer R,G,B layer set transparency for plenty of colour themes
- 18 LCD Colours layer set (going through all the main hues)
- 12+ LCD Glass ideas layer set
- 10 Main Body Background styles
- Toggle for left,right bars to behave as progress, volume toggled to VU bars (no glow just yet)

the lines come from just about above center

i also did technical drawing & graphical communication many years ago O'level (over 20 years ago lol)
so i kno its not right, i'll be playing with it some more dont you worry, i want this to be a pretty cool skin

a few subtle updates, this is the last pic i think before the final version, lcd might change slightly still but i'm happy with most of the skin for the now, will use it a bit and iron out any issues, then this skin is pretty much done, will be ready for the next full Xion release

if and when i release a beta version it will only work in the very latest beta build of Xion

if anyone has any ideas for names for this skin then please feel free to put them forward, thanks in advance
some futuristic names would be cool

A sweet Vu animation might be having the perspective lines light up (or just have a white overlay), starting in the back and jumping closer to the observer as the volume increases.

the inner lines are used for the netbuffer and fill up/decrease for that, the sides act as both vu and vol,prog, just waiting for Cliff to fix the volumetrans layers when hidden and i just need to renamed my layers, then it will have outer vu levels, vu glow, progress & volume, with the quick activating button bottom right or with the menu in the draw

didnt have any plans to add that sort of vu to this yet Kev, thats sorta runway perspective type vu, altho i'll keep that in mind for another skin heh
