I like it.

If you decide to scrap it, send it to me so I can dissect the cbuts. :)

dug this one back up, I like the shape too much to ditch it, as you can tell its had some reworking from the version above

before I do much more on it though I have a few questions to you guys
would you change the bottom cbutton style and what to (i didnt like the above buttons ;) )?
what would you change about the LCD inner parts, add more detail?

the rest of the skin I'm happy with

things to expect in final version
the usual 10 colour variations for the cbuttons, lcd & inner shaped bars :)

I would repeat the outer wave-shape also for the surface (extremely).

the C-buttons are better than the other ones, but i would lift their upper part to the observer and I´d make the display widely beveled down.

Then you would get a surface line (from buttom to top) ascending (at C buttons) descending (in display) under that thing across and ascending again, which repeats the outer shape and could be appealing. just my thoughts...

think the display should be lifted up (to the observer) anyway..

Nice!

You know,it's very hard to give you an advice because your skins a really good.

For the buttons,I prefer the first ones but you can also put both layouts at the same time.
I will explain myself. In one of my previous skins for Sonique(Cyclop),I made two background layers:one brushed metal and the other a simple metal. The user was able to change between the two layers by pressing a switch button. It's like the skin is having two faces'.You can find it at skinbase.org.

When I was reading your second post,I remembered your explanation on how to hide and show layers for the skin Megatronic made by Halonut1.This is why this idea came to me.

Anyway,it's just a thought and this skin is cool.

Thanks ForceField :)

I appreciate advice/critique, I'm sometimes a fussy bugger and often work on self critique but I like to try a few different ideas for things before I put out a conclusion as it were.
It is nice to hear what others think and how they envisage the ideas/shortcomings/potentials, it's often hard to give critique without people taking offense too so I appreciate your honesty and input

yea I like the idea of the 3 buttons in the first one, simple, I'll try and work in an optional set of c-buttons, I like the new ones but another type would also be cool and give users an option, sort of like Torsion where it had some different styles but subtle

I'll checkout your skin too, nice pimp ;) heheh

i like the moment the display turns to black before all colors are changed. maybe you should include a black one also, or leave it always black... cause the other colored parts look so intesive then

SLoB, some small thing´s I forgot to mention: I´d change the mute icon to a speaker with an X and i would slightly blur the random and stop symbol...
