Looking forward to seeing these in my explorer!

It feels like things are picking up again around here.
I shoot and ask questions later.

Take no offense of it.

Alrighty, here is the final set! I have a new found respect for icon designers, these things take forever and a day...

I obviously omitted the full range of large icons since I'd need like a 2000px canvas for preview.

Question for you guys. How would you feel about having no text on them at all (besides skins and plugins)? It would mean 72 less ico files having to be compiled into Xion. I like having text there though, makes it easy to quickly glance at the type if you're not fully familiar with the colors yet. But on the other hand, 72 less icons means much less work for making future edits. Thoughts?

@logokas - For real dude, there's much more than icons coming too *cough* site design *cough splutter* And thanks man :)

Aight hope you like... I'm tired >_<
I made the Xion Default skin. Ask me questions and stuff.

Hopefully making icons hasn't made you run out of steam for the rest of the stuff!

And i prefer it with the text, and the lack of them at 32x means that i'll be looking at file properties for a few months until i remember the colors.

Much prefer the icons with text on them. The less I have to depend on my memory the better. I also use Iconpackager and occasionally recolour all my icons so the text is a must for this.

I just installed the latest Winamp to check what their icons look like and I can't see how to activate individual icons for file types?

They have one icon for all media files and one icon for all playlist files. Where do you set individual icons for each file type??

Photoshop has different icons for each filetype, doesn't it? Your answer may lie there.

Oh I know how to do it, but it was mentioned that Winamp user's didn't want to move because Xion didn't support multiple icons per filetype, but I couldn't even find that option in Winamp!

I used Winamp too long ago to remember. Xion has wiped all memory of Winamp.

Except MMD3. That skin kicks ass.

I tried Winamp again for the first time in five years. It stayed on my system for less time than it took to download and install it. The only feature I miss from it is the visualisation plugins such as Geiss and Milkdrop.

Hope it's not too late to add some input...

Much prefer the second version as otherwise there'd be too much gold to see past when viewing well populated folders.

I'd love to see the individual coloration's continued in the X's, again for quicker recognition. Otherwise my only preferences are green for MP3's and Purple for FLAC. Additionally I'd still really like to have the option to replace individual icons with custom ones, as an alternative.

Great work :D

Thank you Lance for all your efforts. I love the new v2 icons. I know how difficult is to make small sized icons.

I think that the Xion logo should be more visible or the new users wont recognize it, now looks like a strange "K".
:)

Hope to see all the new stuff soon :D

I had both these plugins running under Xion a while ago, I just haven't had a chance to release the plugin that allows it :P

I had support for WMP, Winamp, Sonique and BassBox vis plugins. I'll have to kick start it again at some point!

Cliff :)

Wow! That would be awesome Cliff :D Does this mean hardware acceleration for Xion skins or just for those plugins?

It's just for those plugins at this stage, as they don't have anything to do with the skin system.
