Yes, I'm installing over top & not un-installing before hand.

I'm also having a problem with the new VU meter layers. On my Suave skin, I was converting the VU of course to the new layer types. Initially I got the left channel VUs working, but I couldn't get the right channels to work. Eventually, they both stopped working so now my VUs are just sitting at 100% constantly.

This behaviour can be seen here: http://www.nderson.ca/misc/xion/suave/Suave-nw.xsf.

(DNS has been wonky for my website so the link may or may not work :x)

Interesting...I just tried it and it seems to be working just fine, although I'm using build 67 and haven't tried build 66. I'll leave it on for a while and see if it reproduces to the same effect.

Cliff :)

Haha no worries, I take it that means the issue doesn't reproduce in 67? ;)

Cliff...pickle...what exactly are you guys talking about with the netbuffer? I don't use the netbuffer so I am not sure what is the difference with how the new netbuffer works compared to the animiation layers. Can you enlighten me please, since I am fond of the VU usage?

Previously the only support for displaying netbuffer was by allowing a layer to have its transparency set. Previously the only support for displaying VU Meters was by using an animation set.

In the latest builds I've added support so that both the net buffer and VU meters can be displayed using a similar concept to that of the progress and volume bars.

For example: you can create a 'lvumeterlr' which will create a vu meter for the left channel, which starts at the left and is full at the right.

Hope that clears things up. I've updated the Layer name reference chart on the help page if you wanted to view all of the variations.

Outstanding, makes it less tedious. Thank you for the quick answer.

Have you thought about adding a place in the forum where you list all of the features you plan on adding by certain milestones? For example a list stating where you see Xion by build .75, .85, 1.00?

That way some, if not all :) , of us can start filibustering or lobbying for the features they fill are the most deserving of your time.

BTW, just wanted to say thanks for making such a damn good program. Skinning winamp is a bitch if you don't understand xml. Xion single handedly got me back into skinning...something I have not done since the reveal and litestep times.

I was thinking it'd be cool if there was a page that had a list of all bugs/features to be fixed/added, users could vote on them & Cliff could use that to help him prioritize stuff. Talk about a player for the people!

Sorry - offtopic.
