Skin Rating is now enabled

Hi all!

I've just enabled Skin Ratings. If you now use the Skins page while logged into the forums, you'll see that you can now click on the stars under the skins to cast your vote!

Once cast, you can always change your cast by clicking on a new star.

Note that it will display the average of all votes, so even if you click 1 star on a skin that's had 5 stars continually, you may not see a chance in the star rating as it is an average, but you will notice that the Total Votes increases.

There is no way to 'unvote' for a skin. Once you've voted you can however change your vote at any time.

You can now also sort by either Date or Rating.

Let me know if there are any issues!

Cliff :)

GAH!! I hate ratings.........

Haven't been here in a while and thought I would put up some of my newer skins. Didn't notice the rating system until I'd ulpoaded quite a few.
Don't think I'll bother upping any more.............

You can see all my skins at Wincustomize.com

Problem I see: with all these high quality skins here, a rating from 1-5 doesn't seem sufficient to me (honestly I still have to see a skin (here) that really deserves a 1
How about rating from 1-25 (j/k)

I don't give marks for effort. If I think something is a 1, I will mark it as such. Others are free to push the rating up by voting higher if they feel the need.

Dunno why you're worried anyway BoXXi, your ratings are high and your skins are good!

I just don't believe in voting like that
IMHO, if it's about personal preferences/taste, at the end of the day, download numbers tell you more than votes.

And I agree...Boxxi shouldn't be worried too much.

I agree, everything is subjective to one's own personal tastes. Download numbers are inaccurate in an environment where new downloads are added over extended periods. :)
