Not sure if this is the correct section but here we go,
I am working on a skin and it has a mini area for the visualization, and I was wandering if it is possible to stop it from alternating colours and keep as a fixed colour, blue for example.
I would really apreciate any help that can be given,
Since the visualization is actually a plugin, it does not have layer specific modifiers. Put up a feature request and you might see it in a future build, though.
That doesn't quite work that way. See, if you enable color randomizer, it'll do whatever it wants. And as far as i know, coloring the field of the vis won't affect the color of that static visualizer, either.
That's correct, you can't customise the visualisation layer at all. The reason for this? Well because any future plugins will draw whatever they like in there, including 3d blurry rotating rainbow coloured cubes of craziness, that's why
If you're after custom Visualisation that the user can't change then there are a number of options that you can try out, the most customisable being that created using an animation set.
You can have a custom vis color as long as the user leaves off "random color" in configuration, but as far as I know, that's the only way.You can also put animations on top of (or below) the visualization layer(s) for more customization.
