it´s first time I use this feature for one of my new skins. Animation (9,10,11) just flickers within the (I guess) first two frames, but doesn´t react to b/m/t.
Tried also the Pioneer skin - the same (there are also right/left volume animations included, so at first glance I thought there it works).

Not sure what you did, but I tested it here and it worked perfectly.
I created several frames for the animation and named the whole layer set 'animation animtype(9)'
To test, I placed it next to a vumeterbassbt to ensure it looked the same.
well, did exactly the same - 9 frames for each animation. When paused or stopped the animation flickers between the first two frames, though nothing is playing.
When playing , ok, sometimes the third frame shows up, but I never saw the complete range up to max for bass/mid/treble. The dymanic is completely different to left/right speaker volume, where the complete min-max range shows up.

Ok, send me the skin and I'll check it out to make sure its behaving as it should.
Just note too, that the detection for Bass/Mid/Treble is different to simple Volume. Some songs have more bass and therefore will show the full Bass. Some songs have low levels of each, it really depends on the song.
