Cheers.

...Why?

Xion is very controllable by means of hotkeys.

I don't quite understand where the taskbar would help make it any more user friendly.

If it weren't for dedicated media keys on keyboards, I would only control media players on-screen. I never use hotkeys, and I learned to love WMP's taskbar form.

Even so, Xion doesn't have a dedicated taskbar plugin. One could be added though, i suppose, but i found it to be unwieldy on WMP as it required another extra few dozen megabytes of my resources, and added a bit more lag in some situations.

It's easy to Ctrl+Alt+Num5, you know.

It's easy... if you can be bothered to add to an already expansive list of keyboard shortcuts in your daily repertoire.

I really don't care about hotkeys. why I should learn news hotkeys?. I'm not using to use Hotkeys, I want to use my mouse.

I don't care if I can control Xion with hotkeys or with my mind :D , I want to use my mouse

What are the skins for if Xion it always hidden in system tray?

I really want Xion in the taskbar and I think is really more frienly for me to use Xion in taskbar

Hi LegionarioExtranjero,

Just to clarify, do you mean the Taskbar Button or Taskbar Toolbar?

Taskbar Button:

Taskbar Toolbar:

Why don't you just move the Xion Interface to somewhere on your screen and mark it as Always on Top? Then its floating above all your other windows and you can always see it?

Cliff :)

Hi Cliff

A taskbar button is enough for me.

You can double click on the Xion icon to unhide the player, too.

Or you can right click and 'Show Xion'.

Really, a whole taskbar button is a waste for a music player.

I asked for a button taskbar because I think that is enough for me, and a taskbar player could be a lot of work.

I'm not satisfied with double cilck. Don't you hear a short pause when you doble click the system tray icon? And I can't drag audio files to the taskbar button, wait a few seconds, and then drop them in the player.

The taskbar button can be an optional plug-in.

But if it's all about performance I think I can desist

Right clicking once on the tray icon doesn't pause the music.

I'll add support for this in the next version and make it optional as some people really like that its only in the tray, while others like yourself would also like it in the task bar.
