A speaker that vibrates

Oh yeah. Thought this would work, and I'm glad it did.
This is a very simple example, but it looks a lot like a real subwoofer does when it's playing. It moves with the bass volume.

Hi m8!
It may be just a simple speaker, but here's a screenie of how it looks sitting in the round area on my desktop wall....(Gr8, huh!)
My desktop is all in gray/white/black, with Token icons and a vs from this package: http://solmiler.deviantart.com/art/Plac ... -188414149 (I'm using "Ashtray")

Please continue to develop this skin (add the extras), and get back to me when finished? :D

*Update: I modded the wall with a really cool orb design.....now your speaker is even MORE awesome-looking on my desk! If you'd like me to direct you to all the customization resources I'm using (theme, icons, etc.), just let me know.

You could make a new speaker, too, as you seem to have the design capabilities to do so. Just open his skin in PS and learn how he did it. It should be fairly simple, just a few modified version of the same speaker image, placed into an animation group.

*I hope this is ok with lewa, as I did give credits for the original speaker :D

I find buttons that aren't self explanatory, irritating. You need a manual just to use this thing. I think it would be a much better solution to simply show a bar of controls somewhere when the player is in focus. And the track played should also be somewhere more..roomy. It is not the best solution when you have to wait 5 seconds to see the name of the entire song just so it scrolls through the whole name. Sometimes even more if the title is longer.

Also, speakers are more..black. I always thought that tone of grey didn't exactly fit.

And when you're done, please upload the skin to our Skin database, not just deviantart. The lack of consistency these days really doesn't help when half the skins are being put on dA only. :C

Actually, I like the gray look. And the progress bar, etc. I didn't really make it for the novice Xion user, but rather for people who already know how to hover over a control to see the name of what the function is.
My 3-year-old can use it just fine:)
