hi - could somebody please explain to me this and in simple english as i am new to all this

how do you create your own colours for the text in the playlist - ive been pulling my hair out for 2 weeks now - i dont understand the help section, that says pixel indexes and that 0=background 1= 2= 3= etc.

could you please tell me how to do it, i create the screen area(layer) and then what. all i need to know is how to do it so its got a black background - grey font (song list) - red font (for song that is playing).

i would really appreciate the help and hope somebody can help me.
thanks

Hey there =]

Basically, a pixel index starts from the very top left most pixel of your "pl_list" layer (i.e. "0"). The next pixel to the right is "1" then "2" etc... So what you do is apply color to those individual pixels. The size of the entire "pl_list" layer defines how big the list area is, but the color of it doesn't matter, only the first 8 pixels in the top left need to be colored. Xion then references those colors and applies them to the corresponding element.

Here's a quick screeny of how a regular pixel index should look (zoomed in):

Hope that gets you sorted dude!
