Download Installer Version:
r2 Studios Server -> http://www.r2.com.au/downloads/files/xion_v1.0b95.exe
OR
Xion Server -> http://xion.r2.com.au/download/xion_v1.0b95.exe

Download Portable Version:
r2 Studios Server -> http://www.r2.com.au/downloads/files/xion_v1.0b95.zip
OR
Xion Server -> http://xion.r2.com.au/download/xion_v1.0b95.zip

Changelist from build 94 to build 95:
  • Fix About menu item for components so that its works correctly
  • Remove obsolete code
  • Modify output window default device name
  • Modify EQ Bandwidth from 1.0 to 2.5
  • Add more labels onto EQ
  • Add support for Install Plugin files (.xpf), will ask you to confirm prior to installing
  • Cleaned up some internal file handling
  • Refresh the plugin list and load the plugin after install
  • Reduce working set when working with plugins
  • Make About and Options window Center themselves according to the position of the config window
  • Modify Sorting of HotKeys and Components so that it properly uses the name in the listbox item instead of descriptions
  • Add full support for Logitech LCD to Xion (i.e. Logitech G15 Keyboard)

Oh and there's a new page in the menu! There are now 2 optional plugins that you can download and install. To install, ensure that build 95 is installed already and then either double click the .XPF file, or drag and drop it on Xion.

Enjoy!

Cliff :)

Hmm, how come there was no beta for this version Cliff?

should still go through the motions just in case something is broken or we can test the new functionality?

Not sure, I was feeling lucky ;)

This build is pretty much the same as 94, just some relatively minor changes and plugin support.

(Yes I guess I should have Beta'd it but I had a dead line for this one)

Congratulations Cliff. I am particularly impressed with its memory usage--which is only just over 4.7 MB on my computer. Definitely the best build to date.

Oh, and Cliff.. I have noticed the "Last Updated" part on the Download page is not auto-updating according to the latest Xion build released. It currently reads "Last Updated: 20th April 2007" (the release date for build 82).

Just thought you might want to know. Cheers.

Cheers, thanks for the comments bluefooz. Ah and thanks for spotting the date, I've updated the script so that it properly updates now! :D

Um, okay, how do I download an updated version of the U3 player? I'm a registered user, but I don't see a link, and when I tried downloading the version on the main download page, it "forgot" that I had registered and also cannot find my skins anymore.

Hi warreni,

I checked the email that you registered this account with and don't have it on record, I assume you used a different one when purchasing the U3 version?

Don't post it here, but if you haven't received an email to the address you bought u3 with, then please use the contact page to let me know which email address you registered with and I'll make sure you get a copy of the updated version.

Oops. Installed build 95, but there's no associate files tab. Any clues how to get it back?

If there's no associate tab, then you're most likely using the portable build. In order for file associations to work, you need to add entries to the registry which kills the portability.

Did you mean to use to the portable version?

Of course, I hit the wrong link! :lol: Although portable version is a great idea.
Thanks Cliff!

Why not use the Windows standard method for file association:
Open with....Choose Default Program...and not to forget the checkmark at "Always use the selected program"
That's probably faster than new download and install ;)
