Hey guys, this will be my first post 'round here.

I'm amazed by the high quality skins I've seen here, they ooze quality

I'm currently developing a skin based on a media player I made for a client's website long ago, it still lacks loads of functionality since the original was only meant to play sequentially a playlist, it had no more than play controls, still, due to Xion being so easy to skin, I think I'll finish it in no time.

Aye, its primary function was to display video. Been using it the whole evening and is VERY obtrusive, guess I need to add some winshade mode or something like that.

This is the first Skin for anything I've ever tried. I decided I didn't want to go and make one from scratch for my first attempt so I just remodelled the "Default Thin" skin into a tiny 200 x 100



FYI I've only been using Xion a week or so at the most, which is another reason I didn't want to go and make an extravagant skint. I like it though!

Cool, keep it up! You'll find Xion is so much easier to skin than any other application!

looks good so far, might wanna tidy the bottom corner round, perhaps add a drop shadow to the desktop?
is ther drop/hover effects on the buttons?

I agree with Slob. You also might think about making the seekbar be less 2-tone.

Also, reflections are never that far apart.

if something is floating in mid-air, the reflection looks like this, believe me

sure there is a hover effekt on the buttons i just don't know how to fill the little screen in my "active version"

I'd type up a huge thing about realism being important and how objects just don't float, but eh.
