It happened today.
I just reinstalled Xion as I lost it at one of my uninstall raids, and I started it.
Wanted to start moshi's skin but when I selected the interface selection option at the standard skin Xion started to overload my CPU.
It was up to 98% once I got TaskManager open
I have no idea how this happened, just wanted to make sure noone else was having this.
If anyone else has had this aswell Cliff should look at it.

Greetings,
Martijn

Same thing happened to me when I first installed the player and went to change an interface. After that though, the player ran normally.
If it aint broke, fix it anyway. You may do it better.

I've heard one other report of this, however I havn't been able to reproduce it myself.

Does this always happen when you view the skins now, or does it clear up after you reboot?

I need to find a reproducible case of this so that I can find the cause.

I'm assuming this is in Windows XP, correct?

Cliff :)

For me, it only happened once and that was after initial install. When I first went to change interfaces, it shot the cpu use way up but after that everything worked fine with the player from that point on.

I'm using XP Sp2.
