Seems that the new version did not fix the problem. After install Program Comes up fine and i'm able to create a playlist no problem. After i move the U3 drive to another computer though and bring up Xion it Shows an empty playlist and in place of the player Graphic i get a black Box instead. Tried it on several different computer's re-installed software. Same thing.

If you need any more information about the problem let me know. :D

Ok with the new version going from a computer with xp to another xp computer works great now. :D

Now for the bad news. If i goto a computer with any other version of windows (IE, windows 2000 or Vista) the program will come up ok but when closing the program in these versions of windows produces an error message. After that happens opening it up again it request my key info again. Then after you put that in it shows the icon in the taskbar but the graphic will not come up no matter what you do.

Sorry to be so much trouble but my company has many different computer both old and new so i'm using xp, 2000, and vista often.

I really appericate you looking at this :D

Hi Tiger4949
it might help Cliff a little more if you also post the error msgs from the different boxes, they might all be the same tho but at least it helps with tracking down the issue

suspect its asking for your key again as thats probably the 1st time you entered the key and not shut Xion down?

When you say close, are you removing the U3 drive, or are you right clicking on the tray icon and selecting exit/clicking the close button on the skin?

Its possible that some changes with the version you have no longer work on Windows 2000 (I don't have windows Vista in order to test Xion on it, or a machine that can run Vista)

I'm clicking on the X close button on Xion and it gives that error or i can click on the stop button in Xion to stop playback and it will error out as well.

Then if i move the flash drive to any other computer running xp, 2000 or vista when i try running it again it ask for my key again. Then when i put that in an icon will appear in the taskbar for Xion but no Grahpic shows on the desktop and play list no longer shows either.

I *think* I'm able to reproduce this. I'm getting a crash on an old PIII 800 that crashes in ntdll as well at a similar location in Windows XP. Its possible that this is the problem.

I'll see what I can do about fixing it and let you know.
