Xion 1.0 build 119 Beta Release

I was playing the song named "Stromae - Up Saw Liz" before I close up Xion and shutdown my PC. When I booted on Windows, I start Xion and then the good song is playing "Stromae - Up Saw Liz" but the selected song in the playlist is "2 be 3 - Donne" ...

hmm....I'm pretty sure that in the non-beta version,in the playlist,when i pressed....let's say K it jumped to all songs that started with the K letter......i think it's missing now

Just started Xion up, started playing a song.. everything was going good. It says there are no files in the list, though. I did not load anything, no songs or playlists. This is just after I ran the Xion exe. The number doesn't seem to update, even if I search with the Quick search. This playlist is not saved to a file, it was just added from a few folders.

When I press any key in my list it takes me to the top/first entry in the list. I think you're onto something there..

The playlist working perfectly for me with the latest beta. As soon as you click in the quick search box the playlist jumps to the currently playing file and filters out entries dependant on what you type as you type. If you only type in one letter it won't display any tracks that begin with that letter first, it shows any tracks containing that letter in the order they appear in the playlist.

Hi guys,

No, looks like that's broken in the latest Beta. If you type in the playlist list it should be following what you type and selecting the relevant track.

djinn2, you're actually talking about something different. You're talking about the search filter box. As you type, it will filter the list. I.e if you have a massive playlist, but decide you want to only listen to Karnivool for a while, type Karnivool in the search box and you'll get all their songs. If you have random on, you'll notice it randomly goes through those songs that are in the filtered list.

Nope, still haven't heard back from Lance. If anyone is in contact with him, please tell him to get in contact with me. I've been delaying the next release till he contacts me with the new skin.

Considering there are over 370 fixes, features and changes since build 100, I'd actually like to get another release out and keep the build stable before I go making more changes

If only Lance would contact me.

Rationally, We may not find any bugs in the next version without the new skin (IF it were released). Then there would be a release with the new skin, and a follow up release with any fixes to problems introduced..

May just be talking out my butt, but I do hope everything is alright with him!

Well considering it has been a year since the last Xion release, I was hoping to give it a new face. The current playlist was never designed properly, it was just me hacking apart the default skin and making a new one.

I do have a Beta version of the Xion Default skin that has the main and playlist. I *might* be able to hack together the stick version. At least that way I could release soon and then when Lance does finally show up, I can just do another release which will smooth some things over.
