Yeah it should be. Yeah it didn't go into the release notes as it wasn't a source problem. It was because I linked to a bad library for jpeg loading. So i fixed the link and it just went away.

Hmm, I'm unable to reproduce this. Can you reproduce it? Can you post the steps?

Thanks djinn2, fixed for the next build!

I can't repro the crash either now, however this build has broken the toggle button for the vu meter, use the 3rd botton up from bottom right on Shift 2 skin. This way of toggling has been put into lots of skins from early on as it was the only way we could get this kind of feature into skins.

I might have to send you a build with the crash reporter enabled since it seems like you're the only one getting these. Might be because of something you're doing that no one else is, i.e. listening to radio or something

Hmm ok that ones in the audio library. Can you reproduce it by playing that same m4a?

Nope, listening to m4as this time as opposed to cds ;)
nothing unusual afaik, but then again I'm not usual lol ;)
erm, nothing out of the ordinary really (to both ;) )

edit: I had one track as repeat for bout half the day, then switched to pl repeat, think the crash happened when the track got replayed again after the playlist went round again but can't say for sure if this was the issue.

Its working great for me, with your Shift 2 skin. Perhaps there's something else going on :|

If I click the VU meter it toggles between showing the VU meter...I checked the PSD and it seems to be doing exactly what its been told.

Have you tried .mp3 files? Maybe there's a problem with m4a?

Ah found out what it was lol, although I still think there is some flaw in logic, levels should be just that and independent from volume level.

I only need to put the volume at 20% on my system as I have dolby/prologic 5.1 surround sound headphones (Sharkoon X-Tatic 5.1) and they're fricking LOUD.
At that volume level the vu levels hardly register at all.
I know you changed the vu levels somewhat a while back, however, I'm playing Metal/Prog stuff fairly loud already, there is no way I can push the volume up even further on the player without going into system volume and reducing that.

:)

Well that's the problem then. Not sure what I can do, its showing the current VU, scaled to the volume. I guess you could always crank the Xion volume up and lower the system volume?

If you have Windows 7 you can take that a step further and crank Xion volume up, then use the Windows 7 Mixer to adjust it relative to the Total volume.

I guess it could always be an optional feature, but it seems like a rather minimal feature. Original post about it was here -> http://xion.r2.com.au/community/vwtpc.php?t=959

ok.....here goes a long post.....
...idk if it's from Windows XP or not....or Xion bug....neither if it's that important...but....when i double-click Xion from tray a little thing appears(animation) on the left side of the screen...it's the type of animation like when you minimize a window....to the taskbar....but like i sayed it's on the left of the screen...and its only like half of the animation.....it's like a window would be on the left side of the screen that i can't see ...and when i 2xclick on Xion(tray) it minimizez.......ok......the thing is that i got a keyboard with multimedia keys(for Play/Pause/Stop/Next/Previous)....witch i can use with any video/audio player.....and in Xion..afther i 2xclick it the keys stop working for it......Ok....now..if i click again 2 times it comes back to normal....this time no animations...no nothing).....and the keys start working with Xion..........Idk if it's that big deal...but....for example i accidentali 2xclicked on it and I didn't knew wth happened with it cuz the keys stopped working for it.....
If u consider it's a important bug and wan't more details tell me and i'll try to make a video.
PS:Sorry for bad english and long post  lol..
PS#2:Where can i put an profile image???i can't find any at 'Show gallery'...neither in IE 8 or Chrome..

Yes, Venom, I can see it too. It's like a window minimizing quickly on the left side of the screen originating in the top left corner when I double click on the Xion Icon to hide Xion.
It does not animate when bringing Xion back out, it just pops up. The text on the bar appears to be the current song title, so I'm guessing it's Xion's window off screen? =P

This does not happen when you change system Performance Options (Right click My Computer -> Properties -> "Advanced" tab and then under Performance) to not show Animated windows when minimizing and maximizing. Disabling this no longer shows it.
