Beta Builds of Xion. These are builds that are not quite ready for Release, but need feedback and bug submissions in order to move it to Release Status

Ah, thanks for finding this one OfficerMike07! Seems you've had your bug hunting hat on lately!

Does this mean I win a slice of cake? *drools* Mmmmmm. Caaaaaaake.
So just an update for everyone who's following the Beta Builds...
I've completed the first pass of the skinnable playlist!
The playlist window is now a skinnable and resizeable window!
I'll be releasing a new Beta build soon. I expect it to have a few problems that will need ironing out over the next few releases, but if I could get some feedback and bug reports it'll definitely help me iron it all out!

This one's been fixed for build 102

This has been fixed for build 102

Fixed for build 102
Barloggg Wrote:is there any way to receive track name/time for external application? perhabs most easy way is to copy track name (by use "track title format" sytax command) to window text. So you may change "xion" to this long string.
I've now done this as a quick way for you to get the track name. It'll set the Caption using SetWindowText() for the main Shimmer window in build 102
OfficerMike07 Wrote:Today I tried to listen to a CD. At first, I dragged the optical drive onto my Xion skin from My Computer. Songs wouldn't play automatically, and the only way I could get them to play was to open the playlist, click Control>Play, but once the song finished, I had to do the same thing to play the next track on the playlist. Same goes for adding my drive from the playlist's "Add Directory" option. Adding songs with through the playlist's "Add Files" option, however, allowed for normal functionality.
Most of these should now be fixed. There may still be issues with getting the Audio CDs to properly auto-start. The CD plugin for BASS seems to be rather flaky I may need to look at other ways of using it. I did fix a bug with the track progression though, so they should no longer stop playing after one track. This is in build 102.
logokas Wrote:I noticed this too when playing files off a hard drive. It just fails to start the next song.
Should also be fixed in build 102, I hope. If still not, I may need to change the internal workings of the Audio streamer.
logokas Wrote:Also the crashes are becoming more annoying. Whenever i leave Xion to play my entire music folder overnight ( Music is good for my sleep, wipe that stupid smug off your face >.> ), i wake up in the morning to find it crashed dead or stopped by the next song start bug.
Yeah, its happened randomly for me too, I've updated to the latest BASS version so hopefully 102 should be more stable.

Thank you.
It is working well.
Now how about track time?
may be add this to track name syntax? then i can create proper syntax, and then parse it and recover number i need.
i tried to catch it by memory editor, but unsuccess.
is that data (i mean track time/cur time) placed on static offset in memory, or changing it's position during create and release objects?
in what number you store track time and current play time? in milliseconds?
