Here's a taste of my next skin I'm cooking up. It's inspired by the Orac 3 computer case mod.

I'm still working on the top module of this skin a bit. Some of the neat things it will feature is some realistic depressed x_over states for the standard buttons, and instead of a traditional volume bar, you'll have to pull down the left tube into it's bottom connector. (If i can get it all figured out!)

On occasion! This one hasn't taken much time, i was able to pull some of the tubing directly from pictures of that case mod it's modeled after.

I guess I need to attend 'photoshop addicts annonymous'...

Is the tubing made originally by you or someone else?

The tubing I cropped directly from an image, I just had to bend it, add shadows and a few touch-ups. But really the reason I've been making so many skins is that I'm headin off to get a graphic design degree soon, so I'm trying to build up my portfolio and get better at PS. So I appriciate everyones suggestions and critiques!

awsome case mod!!

good use of some photo blending, the main centered pipe looks a little stretched/pixelated compared to the rest tho

your gonna get questions on those pipes, were they done in ps etc.. lol
they look good and pulling from a photo source is a great way to get ultra realistic pipes

a bit of smoothing on the bottom round section on the edge is needed

Good eye slob! The center one was stretched a little. I think at this point it's almost to late to fix... we'll see though! It's coming along well...
