Transformers Skin

I just saw a Transformers skin for wmp with a nice shutter. I thought if I could make a similer one for Xion. I tried my best and came up with this skin. :wink:

It has a similer shutter like that of wmp skin has but wmp skin also has sound efects for opening/closing shutter.

As I said, it would be pointless to try to explain why an exact copy is wrong, you either feel it's wrong or you don't.

I have been downloading many xion skins which are like windows media players or like that which we find on youtube and so on so I thought "Its not wrong" :roll:

Maybe I'm wrong so I wont make "exact copies" any more. :wink:

BTW it hurts when you say exact copy :cry:

You're right about the fact that other skins are clones too and the last thing on earth I'd want is to just deliberately hurt someones feelings.I sat back and thought about why I'd care about this. What I can tell you is that it isn't a copyright issue to me, it is an originality one.

This is only my opinion, but I want to see artists learn and grow, including myself, rather than see things degrade to the point of who can find the coolest picture on the web.

By no means do you need to agree with me, if we all agreed we wouldn't have a forum.

although if you can't have originality at least make it your own and OWN IT.
I would say borrowing concepts is more beneficial for you as an artist, i.e. a car has 4 wheels and a body etc.. but there is so much you can do with that concept, ok bit lame an example but easy to understand and push forward.

However, as far as you try to push the envelope, it will always be stationery
