blur efect? why not!

heloo,is there any chance to give xion an very popular in this days a "blur efect" like in aimp 3
or wmp,it would be great to create skins with the blur,so many new fresh skins it would be great,if the aimp3 can have it why not Xion?

Blur effect? Like what, motion blur?

I haven't seen this effect, could you show an example?

like in windows or linux (windows borders,taskbar,unity launchbar)
i think its called "blur efect" or im wrong? (maybe its called diferant i dont know english perfect)

Ah, you mean the Aero Glass.

Yes, well..That may be introduced if Cliff ever writes hardware acceleration into the player. In software mode, this effect may be too CPU intensive to properly pay off, even though the effect is nice.

Actually using the WINAPI one can get AeroGlass background for xion for free - the OS blurs everything in the background anyway. Rainmeter uses said API too (check here)

Windows 8 has removed this, it's deprecated already :(
