Once the next release is out, it would be fun to have a contest to design a new 'default' skin for xion that includes many of the new features! It could generate some more interest in the player!

i've a metal revision of the existing default on the list very shortly, have already spoken to Cliff about it but I'm sure a contest would go down well

we will be having a contest @ SC to celebrate next Xion release, which Cliff will be helping us organise and we will post details soon

We'll have to see about having a new default skin. I'm quite happy with it as is, especially since I paid to have it made and have received lots of positive feedback especially on the bar version.

As SLoB said, Skin Consortium have offered to organise a competition for the next Xion release, which I'm hoping will help raise public knowledge of Xion. It will also provide an influx of skins to the already spectacular collection we have.

No more details yet, but keep an eye out around the release of the next version.

Sure, perhaps I can organise several competitions for different skin types, the winners being packaged by default with Xion.

Actually, I'd personally prefer if no skin was packaged by default (except of course the default). I keep going through & deleting the skins that come packaged, but that I don't want.

Nonetheless, contests are always good ideas

Yeah, I actually agree with you pickle. Going back and deleting skins everytime i install a beta gets old. What if we had two download types Cliff? One for folks who are updating and dont need all the extra skins, and one for the new guys.

i was thinkin of somethin else tat sud be there... da playlist skin !

since current skins don't cover up da playlist... i was thinkin tat if there is an option so tat skinners (at least those who want !) can skin da playlist... but in this case... they r not skinnin da actual playlist... but they r makin a different window thru da psd tat opens up -n- tat has da playlist in it... pretty much like da track thingy now... -n- if they don't want tat... da default normal thing wud open !

if you checkout the feature requests you will see that there are loads of things that have been asked for and lots of things have been implemented, future releases will only get better with even more cool features
