updating xion ?

hi everyone, i'm sort of new with xion. when the time comes,when there is a new build of xion , do you uninstall the old one first or do you just update it ?...thank you

quickest way is just rename the current xion folder perhaps add the build number onto the folder name

then just install the new one, it will create its new xion folder within the r2studios folder

then your set
you can then transfer skins from the old interface folder to the new one

job done

at some point in time you can remove/archive the older folders

Its also safe to install over the top. If you do experience any problems you can always try a fresh install, but for the last 50 builds or so I've been installing over the top without a problem.

The installer won't overwrite your settings file if it exists, and therefore it keeps all settings the same, including the last playlist and last file you were playing.
