Hey Cliff, I just wondered: Have you toyed again with the idea of porting Xion to OS X? With most of the mac users being visually demanding people I think many of them would welcome the Xion eye candy. But by no means do I want to push you, I know how much work and trouble it would be to port the code and I really appreciate your dedication either way. It just crossed my mind

doubt it will happen anytime soon
heheh, well seems silly to move to that if they don't support Xion ![]()
Actually, I'm not 100% sure, but couldn't you use something like Crossover?
There are a couple of windows emulators as well. Have you tried this? Cliff ![]()
Don't own a Mac
![]() But perhaps anybody here who does wants to check it out? Yet, Crossover and any similar tool that I know are based on Wine - and with Wine it definitly doesn't work. That is, it actually operates smoothly without any problems, the only one of all things that doesn't work is: the shimmer interface ![]() ![]() There's of course the possibility to use a virtuel machine and I believe to remember that Parallels Desktop has a mode called "Coherence" where it hides the Win Desktop and you can move Win apps around like any other. But it's still a VM ... and running a whole second OS at the same time just to be able to use a program whose benefits are being small and fast? Don't know ![]() Anyway, I'm a Windows user too, don't let you get distracted by this ![]()
I wouldn't mind if Xion was Mac OS X compatible.

You could try running it in CrossOver? Cliff ![]()
