seriously though, we could all possibly contribute to some documentation at some point, the problem is with that tho is the old tale of no one bothers to rtfm until something stops working
so its kind of a double edged sword, least if there is some documentation then it could be translated etc.. altho how hard is it to actually use without documentation?
Cliff goes to great lengths to try and make things intuitive or even takes the choice away as to not confuse or allow too much user control but still have some advanced stuff for more advanced users.

Yes, I've never learned about the wiki process but it would be great to have a writer, someone of logokas' caliber.That windows 7 article was quite good. Officermike and jikaru also say very concise things, well ordered and well thought out.I started reading some of Lances stuff too, the other day.There are some good resources on tap here.

I would offer another idea, which is maybe a part two advanced skin tutorial, to cover some of the more complex ideas we consider must haves in a skin, along w/ pictures.Or someone could help compile a list of tutorial catagories, if that would help. xonenine.

I suppose that has been suggested, but a simple one like color switching, layer switching, interface switching, the vu meter basics, a couple more things like that.

I wouldn't give him a pat on the back for that, we are using his negativity for positive.
We need people to help not whine so his attitude is his own undoing

also remember a good percentage of people never read the manual until something goes wrong which is why it has probably not surfaced yet

Jeez. The only documentation that is required so far, are the special triggers, like the Shift key. It's not self-explanatory, and it's hidden. That's what, 2 sentences?

I don't feel I.m as qualified as some of you to write the documentation ably, but I'd like to hear what you think should be covered in a skin tutorial part two, kind of get an outline of subjects to cover...xonenine

don't forget we already have a wiki over at sc dedicated to Xion too, if anyone needs any info or privileges then gimme a shout, can't remember how we've set it up but should be able to add anything else
