[added 115] How to use parentheses in text objects

I tried using pp(() and ap()) which does not seems to work. I also tried backslash \( \) and it doesn't work either.

Is there a way to use parentheses in text object?

I've added support for using \ to escape characters such as ( and )

So in build 115 you'll be able to do:
