Can I save my skin settinge for the next time I use Xion?

Hello everybody, you may call me Matt or my forum name I am very happy to be here.

I cam across your software in a youtube video and loved the skin.

Each time I load Xion the correct skin does appear but I have to tweak it still. Can this be helped?

Well, when I start Xion the penguin skin does come on but I need to click the penguin to get it to the color i want. I would prefer if it just started with the skin set the way i like it. Hope that helps

Hi Matt,

That depends on the skin author. I believe the Xiontux skin was created before the settings were added. It should be simple enough to modify the skin to support this locally. It will need the skin author to update the skin before it will work for everyone else though.

Add your own save state to the layer:

Signals to Xion that the visible state of the layer with the keyword should be saved between skin loads. Useful for creating configurable visuals.

Keyword: save_state
Alternate Keyword: svst

Hi Matt,
your best bet is to read the Layer Keyword Reference Chart in the Help Section.

I wish I could make it look/sound more Holy.

There's also a skin making tutorial there, and plenty of info which will enable you to customize any of the skins you like.
