[fixed] Loading interfaces

Hi,

When I try to load a skin by opening an .xsf file, sometimes the old skin disappears, but fades in again. But if I put it into "Xion/Interfaces/" and load using "Load Interface" window, it loads and works correctly.
Another curious thing is that when I open a not loading .xsf file (not putting it into the folder) with the skin that has several interfaces, I can go to "Load Interface" window and there will be interfaces of that skin, though there is another on the screen.

Is that a known bug? If yes, then what should I do to the skin to get rid of it?

Hi NickMikh,

Yes this is a bug that I will fix for the next release. There is a workaround however. If you name your .psd file the same thing as your .xsf file then it will work. The bug is that Xion is looking for a .psd file with the same name as the .xsf and if it can't find it, it doesn't try to find any other .psd files.

I'm not sure I completely understand what you are saying? Does it end up showing two skins from completely different .xsf files at the same time? Maybe you could send me a screenshot?

Cliff :)

No, that means that when I use,for example, Default skin, then open, for example, MySkin.xsf with several interfaces, Default skin disappears, then appears again, but when I go to the "load interface" window, I see interfaces of MySkin, not that of Default Skin

Ah right, I understand. I believe that is related to the same bug.

Keep an eye out for the next release where it should be fixed.

Cliff :)
