Im considering leaving out the volume bar and just putting mute/unmute button on my skin...i dont really have a need for a whole bar for this, I use the volume control on my computer or the speakers so I want to know from the community if it really is a neccessity to have a volume bar....

I appreciate the volume bar for the player itself, so i can lower it's volume and use it as a background sound while i listen to something that's more important.

It is your skin, and it's your choise if you include a volume bar or not, but take note that some people might not look too well upon the fact.

I wonder if I could make a button to extend the background up a bit and reveal a volume bar, like a mute/unmute^ button. the arrow would be the extender to change the volume by bar...right now the likely-hood of the volume bar is 2 to nothing, meaning people like it so it'll probably end up in the final in some fashion.
