I just downloaded Microsoft Expression Studio 2 (courtesy of DreamSpark), and I thought I might try using Expression Design to throw together a test skin, since it'll export PSDs. I quickly found out Xion won't open this PSD as is, so I tried opening and re-saving it with GIMP. Xion opens the skin now, but my track info layer isn't showing up (should be white text in the black rectangle). I don't have PhotoShop on this computer, so I'm kindly asking for someone who does to re-save it and see if that solves the problem. Failing that, anyone else see why the text might be hiding?

You didn't have to upload it, all I wanted to know is if I had to include PhotoShop as the final step in my workflow. As long as I know it works...

I haven't ever tried to skin with GIMP, so I can't answer this one.

OfficerMike07, Can you send me a copy of the PSD that was saved from Microsoft Expression Studio 2?

I'd like to debug why it wasn't opening at all. I can only assume it might be saved in CMYK by default.

I downloaded the one you linked, but that loaded into Xion fine (except for the track), but I'd like to see the original too.
