I'm new to skinning and I did the tutorial, the only problem is that the track title does not show up. Could someone help me. If it matters, I use GIMP.

I'm pretty new at this but here is one thing I've discovered.

The track title will be the color of the graphic (rectangle, square, whatever) you make for the track layer in your graphics program. If it is the same color as the background or if there is very little contrast between it and what lies behind it, it will be there but it will not be apparent due to the coloring.

Apart from that, maybe font size as related to the area you have designated is not appropriate.
