Perhaps there is a bug with the parser. Can you post the exact layer name you are using?

try removing any states files for the skin if using svst, perhaps thats the issue?

no probs with tooltips tho, i tend to use tt now tt(blah) rather than the full blown tooltip altho either shouldnt have any issues?

sorry Cliff, can't post the layer name, I deleted the skin, and I haven't used tooltips since. But all I did was add tooltip(name) onto the end of the play, pause buttons etc.

ah, thats probably the problem then cos those buttons already have preset tooltips from the core, so potentially this is a bug?
adding tt or tooltip to any layer should override the system ones, should that be so Cliff?

I would raise it as a bug BoXXi so it can be fixed in 83 as the next lot of betas has started ;)

You can already override default buttons with your own tooltips, I just tested it again and it works fine.

The most likely reason is that BoXXi forgot to place a ) at the end of the tooltip. This bug was fixed for build 83.

Other than that I'd need a reproducible case. Next time BoXXi, don't delete the skin, send it in so I can debug it! ;)
