Multiple ID tags

Have you consider the possibility of assigning multiple ID(x) tags to a layer? This way two seperate events can control a layer's actions?

I would think this would cause more problems than benefits? You'd then need a way to 'debug' your skins when things didn't work as expected.

Why not just reference the same id? There's no rule that says you can't have multiple modify()'s pointing at a single id(). Wouldn't that be the same thing?

Why yes I have thought of that and I find it quite shallow and pedantic.
