Speaker volume animation vs. action_layer_hide

I'm working on a skin right now that has level indicators which I would like to hide when a certain control is clicked by the user. However, I've found that the action_layer_hide keyword does not produce the effect that I want - the frames within the animation group still respond to sound volume.

Is there a way to make the action_layer_hide and action_layer_show keywords "stick" for speaker volume animation groups?

Hi Harkonenn,

Currently you are unable to do this, however I will be adding support for the next version.

Cliff are you adding both switch and hide?
would be cool if we could add more than 1 vu in a skin and also have the option to switch/turn the cycle off so end would be we have a blank animation set
not tried yet but what happens if we declare an animation set and have no layers? would that suffice in having it turned off or we would set our end layer set with the animation type to stop and hide?

see skinning tricks thread for the VU toggle button idea, based on Cliffs colourchangersetup
