how would one go about getting some more visualisations on the go? [-o<

or importing them from winamp? #-o

or just being really awesome, forgetting about vis all together and worry about real problems like just making a nice skin that doesnt need a cool visualisation to get the girls in my bed?
(last one was a joke obviously, girls will never get in my bed lmao) :^o

yours faithfully

One way is to make animations based on animation types 3 thru 10, so that the animation is triggered by the various types of input, whether it's treble, bass, meter levels, etc.

You'll be able to add modify() tags to frames in the anim so elements of your skin hide and show as needed.

There are some simple tutorials in the Tips, tricks, and techniques threads...
...and the different animation types are defined in the layer reference section. :)

Hi Vinnie84,

At the moment there are only 2 builtin code driven visualisations. In the future there will be some more code driven ones. As xonenine said you can make custom ones yourself. This is a very easy way for artists to make visualisations. They aren't as free flowing or changeable as some code driven ones but at least they can be created and some stunning results can be created very easily.

You'll find quite a few skins, including the new Xion default skin has some custom skin made visualisations.

Cliff :)

There are transparency based animations you can try too, under Special Render in the Layer Reference.. :)
