Actually this brings me to something I've been wondering about (if I were home I'd test it but as is I'll just ask). How does Xion treat layer sets that aren't for animations, I mean if we were to organize our layers into sets, would Xion know to go into an "unknown" set and process the layers as usual? Or would it ignore the layer set (because it's not specifically an animation set) and wouldn't display anything that's inside it?
It only processes things it understands in a special way. Anything else it just displays as normal.
So to answer your question, yes you can use layersets to organise your buttons/objects/groups, etc without it affecting how Xion handles your skin.
