Nice! This is a very good skin, a must have for anyone who loves visuals.

I'm a little iffy about the titlebar length but i guess i can always hope for a 2.0 :D

Was it you that wanted an extention to the title screen? Because I did actually extend it a full 30 pixels Can't really go much further. But aye, we'll see for v2 Thanks again mate.

Hey you're right!

Well, 30 pixels really is a small amount when you're at 1600x1200 resolution. :D

I think we can expect some scaling options at some point in the future esp if Xion goes Direct X - ok its not the best solution but better than nothing

the problem will always be users with different monitor resolutions until we all get on some generic size that will have mass market penetration

atm the shift is towards 1280*1024 but still a lot of users on 1024*768

for skins I only ever bosh stuff out for 1280*1024 unless working on full screen skins then we cope with multiple resolutions
widescreen monitors are also another issue too, where some things look borked on them, mainly websites tho.

Xion does not yet have a resizable skin solution, but I reckon this might be explored with at least the playlist at some point, perhaps a skin can be built around that playlist so the whole lot can become resizable

One thing t hat bugs me a bit.

The skin should reposition itself so that the titlebar's top stays where it is before you change the skin. I remember some repositioning tags for the layer. It would save the trouble of repositioning the player by hand.

Ooo that sounds interesting. I'll have a look at that and get it sorted. Should I wait until a proper update to release it or just replace the current download and say tough shit for the people who already have it? I guess it depends on whether or not you can wait that long

Hey Lance, fantastic skin. I left a "Leave Feedback for Author" and it started a new thread.

I'll add here that I think your skin should be the default for Xion, it is so cool. The arms on the LPs are awesome.

I agree with the above post(s) that on 22" LCD and larger, my res 1650x1080, the song track etc and be somewhat enlarged perhaps?

That may also give you greater scope for finer detail in the artwork.

I've taken all into consideration and will begin designing XDJ 2 right after my new skin which is in final stages of production. It's not as extreme with cool ideas, but it's something decent non the less.

Sounds great Lance! I look forward to both. You know how art is though, same painter but one likes one work in particular. I think your LP skin is really cool. My friend, whom I sent a copy of Xion last night, with your skin set as the default thinks so too. That one can move the arms to change tracks is a "wow" factor.

It isn't practical but it is fun and that makes a cool looking skin great.
