Kev-O - I love VolumeBar (don't think I ever mentioned it...). In fact, I use it more than any other skin. Why? Because it has that great, big, easy to use volume slider!

So, since I have this insane need to customize everything on my laptop, I decided to try my hand at a similar design.

I'm posting it here because I wanted to make sure that I'm not going to step on your toes with what could be interpreted as a rip.

Here we go... There's a lot more to be done, and I haven't really moved much beyond the initial design phase, but I think you'll get the idea.

Ooooooooooooo! Now that is pretty. Rip away my friend! That looks much better than mine.

ps- feel free to take the slider from mine if you need it. (I noticed you didn't have one yet...) I think it would match the color scheme

Thanks, Kev-O! I really appreciate that. I was actually going to ask if I could "borrow" that slider. But I don't know right now... I'll have to push some more pixels.

both look good and minimalistic/functional guys, 2 different looks on the same theme, thers plenty more scope for more styles imo good work

Here's an updated shot:
- I added the volume slider
- Calmed the colors down a bit
- Added track
- Worked on it so hard that it got scratched up; oops.

Looks swell! Did you end up leaving out the LED peak lights?

No, I didn't leave out the peak meters - I just haven't made a decision about the color ramp yet. Also, I'm adding more controls, such as play, pause, balance, etc. Hope I don't kill it...

Your logic is flawed. It's gaining popularity on other skin sites. What you're doing is spamming.

Sorry to hear you feel this way, but I will have to disagree.. its not like my messages are all over this board... I have just as many hate against spam as you do, but anyway, you have made your point and I will make sure these messages wont be considered to be spam.
