Hi All,

Just wanted to query on a CPU Usage issue that I have. On the Home Pae of this site it says that Xion uses little CPU usage and memory. With that, I agree in part. Memory usage is low, but CPU usage is a whoping 790 - 1Ghz at most times. This only happens when I have a song with a long title, thus causing the track to scroll.

Are you guys having the same difficulty?

Also, after about ten minutes (even when running low on CPU for a change), Xion Crashes by holding up my laptop and freezing it altogether.

Any help would be great!

hmm, didnt see many cpu issues on skins through the beta versions nor 82, unless the skin is processing animations constantly, there is a fix for some of that in 83/4+

what Xion version are you using and what skin?
have you tried copying and renaming the same track to a shorter name, rather than just switching to another shorter named song? (just so you can eliminate if its deffo the song title)
have you tried disabling the library? (not sure if that issue is still going tho, Cliff?)
