I guess the bigger the better on the logo. We can always size it down. Would be cool if it was an illustrator type so it can be sized without loosing too much of it's detail. But a large png would be great too.

Thanks

And thanks for the compliments

Damn...CoreProcess sounds great... But I think it will be Talisman... :-k

And yeah, you should make a random skin name generator    .

edit: Ok its Talisman :). Thanks Pickle!

I've uploaded a PNG of the Xion logo at http://xion.r2.com.au/images/xionlogo.png

Should suite all sized skins.

Nightbreed,I don't know how Cliff did it but the skin engine of Xion is Just amazing!
I never saw that anywhere else.Anyone who is Photoshop trained can begin immediatly to skin Xion. And the best part is that when the drawing is finished the skin also!
(Ps:Using MiniWMP as my new default skin)

Gordan, you are just like me!Sometime I can stay hours even days searching for a name for my newborn skin and when I cannot find it, I show the drawing to my friends so they can help me.However 'Talisman' is not bad at all.

Thanks ForceField. I actually have a Blackbox theme that matches that Xion skin.
if you want, here's my blackbox screenshot section http://boxshots.org./index.php?action=s ... eed&type=0
I just finished a Litestep theme that matches it as well http://img135.imageshack.us/img135/5915 ... tepsp3.jpg

I like the fact that when I do skins and interfaces for my shells I can do Xion in a matter of minutes with the same graphics.

just a quickie skin to get something working

top left, right little buttons use the modify switch layer for a few colour themes and layer styles
Image

a few gfx tweaks/changes yet before this is submitted, need to do a custom vis and add the normal vis into the middle space

Yep, looks cool. Nice job on providing multiple colour schemes - it looks sharp (though I was unable to switch colours in Xion). The visualizer is cool too. Excellent idea.

There were a couple things I'd do differently if I were making the skin.
  1. Get rid of the rivets. They look a lot like the buttons
  2. The frequency & bit rate is reall hard to read. Maybe make that highlight layer a bit more transparent?
  3. Trim the stray pixels around your main id(u) moveable layer.
  4. Flatten it. I'm presuming you've left the layers in because it's still a W.I.P.?

Other than that it looks dang good - you've obviously spent some time on this.
